The registration fee includes an opening reception on Friday night 2/10, breakfasts on Saturday 2/11 and Sunday 2/12, banquet dinner on Saturday, and coffee breaks all weekend.

Registration Costs:

  • Students: $125
  • Post-docs: $175
  • Faculty and Professional: $225

Payment can be made onsite (at the symposium) with cash or check. Plase make out checks to the University of Oregon.

All symposium events will be held at The Nines Hotel, centrally located in downtown Portland, Oregon. Featuring elegant accomodations, a rooftop bar, and award-winning cuisine, The Nines provides a comfortable setting for scientific discussion and social interaction. Symposium registration includes several meals, and lodging on-site will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the symposium.

T-Rex rocks Let's shred some moguls This is a nice rooftop bar. Multnomah Falls is beautiful and accessible. Turn on, tune in, drop out The Eagle Creek Trail is nice hike up a waterfall-filled canyon. Andina is one of our favorite restaurants. The Japanese Garden Hang-out with hipsters at the Doug Fir Lounge. The Portland Saturday Market is a good place for eating, shopping, and general hanging-out.  Bring your own hackey sack.
