We encourage everyone to participate in the poster session on Saturday.

Poster Awards
A panel of IGERT affiliates will be judging posters, and prizes will be awarded to the top three entries. The prizes are as follows:

  • First place: $300
  • Second place: $200
  • Third place: $100

Judging will be based on the scientific content, communicative clarity, and overall design of the poster. Additional consideration will be given to the quality of public interaction during the poster session on Saturday night. Only student poster submissions are eligable for these awards.

Poster Abstracts:
If you would like to participate, e-mail your poster abstract to evodevo2012@evodevo2012.org with the word "ABSTRACT" in the subject line before January 22, 2012. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Include the title, author(s) and affiliations.
  • Indicate which author is the presenter of your poster.
  • Please limit the abstract to 300 words in length.

Poster Details:
The maximum size is no larger than 4 feet wide by 3 feet tall. We will provide all materials needed for mounting your poster. Also, we will digitally display posters on the main lecture screen during breaks between speaker sessions. For this purpose, please send a JPEG or PNG -version of your poster (no-PDFs) to evodevo2012@evodevo2012.org.
